Registry form for military duty
Greek male citizens, who were born in 1993, have the obligation to complete and submit a registry form concerning their military duty. Deadline is 28 February 2011. For more information, please read the Greek text. If you do not understand Greek, please call the Consular Office for more information.
Please notice:
1. The above is also necessary for citizens with double nationality (i.e. even if you have the Dutch nationality as well).
2. Submitting the form does not mean that you are obliged to do your military duty. You can still ask for the Certificate of Permanent Residence in the Netherlands, which allows you to travel in Greece without any problem (for requisites for the certificate, please click here - text in Greek).
3. Not submitting the form on time can have legal consequences (e.g. the obligatory time of your military duty can be increased)

Greece favorite flight holidays destination 2010
In an online poll organised by Zoover.nl, Greece was elected the most popular flight holidays destination (26,3 %). The price was given on 27 May 2010 in an event at the office of the Greek National Tourist Organisation in Amsterdam (Kerkstraat 61, 1017 GC AMSTERDAM)
